...and we're off

So we start with a photo exhibit of my work at the New Orleans Museum of Art. April 21, 2010 as part of PhotoNOMA- One night, One hundred photographers. I can't wait! Of course there's the part where I get to share some of my work (which I am very proud of), but also, I get to walk around and see the works of 99 other photographers in the area. I love it!! ...to peak into their world and see what they are seeing through their lens.... Awww! very exciting stuff!

So my pic of the day has got to be a sky... one of those moments when you look up and notice a tree branch for the very first time (again) or the sunlight shining on your face (just differently than ever before)... I know, I know, very dramatic, but... that is art, it's what it inspires in me... being afforded a chance to take a break from the mundane so I can dream and visit amazing, beautiful places and moments that sometimes live only in my head, but are always inspired by what I see!
